Three Fungo Ground Ball Circuit Drill

Sale Price: $0.00 Original Price: $5.00

The Three-Fungo Ground Ball Circuit is a fast-paced defensive drill that develops ground ball fundamentals, accurate throws, and quick transitions between reps.

Set up three fielders across from three fungo hitters, with an additional fielder waiting to enter. Position Catch In 1 to the right of Fungo Hitter 2 and Catch In 3 to the right of Fungo Hitter 3. Keep buckets of balls beside the fungo hitters.

  • Fielder 1 fields a ground ball from Fungo Hitter 1, throws to Catch In 1, then rotates to Fielder 2.

  • Fielder 2 fields a ground ball from Fungo Hitter 2, throws to Catch In 3, then rotates to Fielder 3.

  • Fielder 3 fields a ground ball from Fungo Hitter 3, throws to Catch In 3, then rotates to the waiting line.

  • The waiting fielder enters at Fielder 1.

Keep the fungo sequence moving: once Fungo Hitter 1 hits, Fungo Hitter 2 hits, followed by Fungo Hitter 3. Players rotate after every rep, including errors—no redos. Emphasize ready position, controlled footwork, clean transfers, and accurate throws.
